VOOPOO Vmate i3 Pod Kit Review: Specs, Colours & Price in the UAE

The VOOPOO Vmate i3 Pod System Kit is a rechargeable, refillable pod system with a 1500mAh battery and 7 colours in stock, priced at AED 110 at Vape Collection Shop, with delivery across the UAE within 24 hours.

Key takeaways

• 1500mAh rechargeable battery, USB-C charging, and a 3ml refillable pod — there’s no puff count since this isn’t a disposable.
• Smart Match auto-adjusts output between 5–30W based on the coil you’re using, so there’s no manual wattage dial to fiddle with.
• 7 colours in stock: Black, Cyan, Neon, Pink, Purple, Red and Silver.
• Uses VMATE (V2) pods with 0.7Ω (warmer, denser MTL) or 1.2Ω (tighter, cooler MTL) coils.
• Best for vapers who want a compact refillable pod system without adjusting wattage themselves.

This review is based on the specifications published on this listing, cross-checked against the product’s own description and specification sheet, which are consistent with each other here — not a hands-on unit test. Vape Collection Shop sells the VOOPOO Vmate i3 direct to customers in the UAE.

What is the VOOPOO Vmate i3?

The Vmate i3 is a compact auto-draw pod system — you refill the pod with your own e-liquid rather than buying pre-filled disposables. It’s built around VOOPOO’s Smart Match technology, which reads the resistance of whichever VMATE V2 pod is installed and automatically sets the output between 5W and 30W, so there’s nothing to configure manually.

How the Vmate i3 compares to the Vmate i2

Both share the same Smart Match output and pod system — the i3’s real advantage over the i2 is its larger 1500mAh battery, which is worth the extra AED 25 if you vape through a full pod or more per day.

What’s in the box

Each Vmate i3 kit comes with the device itself, one VMATE V2 pod (pre-installed), a USB Type-C charging cable, and a user manual. Replacement pods and coils are sold separately.

Battery life and charging

The built-in 1500mAh battery recharges over USB-C. Because the Vmate i3 is refillable rather than disposable, there’s no fixed puff count to compare against other devices in this catalogue — how long the battery and a tank of e-liquid last depends entirely on your wattage, coil choice and how often you vape.

Pros and cons

Pros: larger 1500mAh battery than the i2; Smart Match removes the need to set wattage manually; 7 colour options; refillable, so no ongoing disposable cost; USB-C charging.

Cons: no manual wattage adjustment for vapers who want full control; pod capacity (3ml) is modest next to some rival pod systems; replacement pods and coils are an ongoing cost.

Who should buy the VOOPOO Vmate i3?

Worth it if you want a simple, compact refillable pod system that handles the wattage decisions for you. If budget matters more than battery size, the VOOPOO Vmate i2 is AED 25 cheaper with a smaller battery; if you want a different Vmate model, see the VOOPOO Vmate Infinity. For the wider range, see the VOOPOO brand page.

Is the VOOPOO Vmate i3 legal and compliant in the UAE?

Vaping has been legal in the UAE since April 2019. Pod systems and their e-liquids are regulated under UAE.S 5030:2018 via MoIAT/ECAS certification — check the ECAS/MoIAT mark on the device and any e-liquid you pair it with before purchase. Sale is restricted to adults 18+ under Federal Law No. 15 of 2009, with ID verification at delivery. You can also verify authenticity directly through VOOPOO’s own verification page.

Replacing pods and coils

The Vmate i3 uses VMATE (V2) integrated-coil pods in 0.7Ω or 1.2Ω resistances — once a pod’s coil wears out, replace the pod rather than trying to rebuild it. Don’t puncture, crush or burn a spent pod or the device’s battery — treat both as e-waste. The UAE doesn’t yet have a widespread vape-specific recycling scheme, so the safest option is your nearest general e-waste drop-off point.
