RELX Artisan Vape Kit Review: Specs, Colours & Price in the UAE

The RELX Artisan Vape Kit is a rechargeable pod system with a 380mAh battery and 1.9ml RELX Pod Pro 2 pods, available in 6 finishes, priced at AED 230 per device at Vape Collection Shop, with delivery across the UAE within 24 hours.

Key takeaways

• A compact, draw-activated pod system — not a disposable — built around a 380mAh rechargeable battery and refillable-by-pod design using RELX Pod Pro 2 pods (1.9ml, sold separately).
• Charges fully in around 45 minutes over USB Type-C.
• Available in 6 finishes: Bright Mandarin, Dark Stealth, Indigo Denim, Polo Stripe, Robin Blue and Royal Saddle — all AED 230 regardless of colour.
• Ceramic-style heating with a leak-resistant maze structure, tuned for a tight-to-smooth MTL (mouth-to-lung) draw.
• Best for vapers who want a pocketable, low-maintenance pod system with a premium finish; not the pick if you want adjustable wattage/airflow or a bigger battery (see the RELX Infinity 2 comparison below).

This review is based on the specifications published on this listing and Vape Collection Shop’s own RELX Pod Pro 2 and RELX Infinity 2 listings — not a hands-on unit test. Vape Collection Shop sells the RELX Artisan direct to customers in the UAE.

What is the RELX Artisan?

The RELX Artisan is a pod system, not a disposable — a rechargeable device you refill by swapping in a new RELX Pod Pro 2 pod rather than throwing the whole thing away. It’s aimed at vapers who want a compact, low-fuss device for everyday mouth-to-lung vaping rather than high-wattage clouds.

RELX Artisan specifications

What colours does the RELX Artisan come in?

All 6 finishes currently in stock: Bright Mandarin, Dark Stealth, Indigo Denim, Polo Stripe, Robin Blue and Royal Saddle — all AED 230, since colour is a style choice, not a spec difference.

What pods does the RELX Artisan use?

The Artisan takes RELX Pod Pro 2 pods (1.9ml, closed system, sold separately at AED 30). Nicotine strength depends on which pod flavour you pick — RELX’s Pod Pro 2 range spans roughly 18mg to 50mg. Since the pods are closed and pre-filled, you can’t top up a pod yourself; once one runs dry, you swap in a fresh one.

RELX Artisan price in the UAE

Vape Collection Shop sells the RELX Artisan for AED 230, the same price across all 6 finishes. That’s the device only — RELX Pod Pro 2 pods are sold separately at AED 30 each. Delivery is within 24 hours across the UAE, with card payment available in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, and cash on delivery or bank transfer everywhere.

How does the RELX Artisan compare to the RELX Infinity 2?

Both take the same RELX Pod Pro 2 pods, so flavour choice isn’t a factor either way. The Infinity 2 has a larger battery, faster charging and selectable power modes at a lower price — its case is functional. The Artisan’s case is its finish: a distinct, design-led body in colourways like Indigo Denim and Dark Stealth. If you want the lowest running cost, the Infinity 2 is the more practical pick; if you want a specific look, the Artisan is built for that.

What’s in the box

The RELX Artisan kit includes the device itself, a USB Type-C charging cable, and a user manual. Some retailers include a starter pod and some don’t — confirm with your retailer whether a pod is bundled, since RELX Pod Pro 2 pods are normally sold separately.

Battery life and charging

The built-in 380mAh battery recharges over USB Type-C in around 45 minutes. That’s a smaller battery than a mod-style device, but it’s typical for a compact MTL pod system, and it’s rated for a full day of light-to-moderate use — heavier vapers may need a top-up during the day. The draw-activated firing (no buttons to press) makes it straightforward for both new and experienced vapers.

Pros and cons

Pros: premium, pocketable design with 6 finish options; draw-activated and easy to use; fast USB-C charging; uses the widely available RELX Pod Pro 2 pods.

Cons: smaller battery and no adjustable power modes compared with the RELX Infinity 2; pods are sold separately and add to the running cost; not the pick if you want adjustable wattage or airflow.

Who should buy the RELX Artisan?

Worth it if you want a compact, good-looking pod system for everyday MTL vaping and don’t mind paying a premium for the finish over the Infinity 2’s lower price and bigger battery. For the wider RELX range, including the disposable RELX Blade 50000 and RELX Optimus 60000, see the RELX brand page.

Is the RELX Artisan legal and compliant in the UAE?

Vaping has been legal in the UAE since April 2019. Multiple UAE sources report a 20mg/ml nicotine cap under UAE.S 5030:2018, but that figure hasn’t been confirmed against a primary MOIAT source, and this catalogue itself carries pod flavours above it. The Artisan device and its RELX Pod Pro 2 pods are regulated under UAE.S 5030:2018 via MoIAT/ECAS certification — check the ECAS/MoIAT mark on the packaging before purchase. Sale is restricted to adults 18+ under Federal Law No. 15 of 2009, with ID verification at delivery. You can also verify authenticity directly through RELX’s own verification page.

Disposing of the RELX Artisan and its pods

The device itself is rechargeable and meant to last, but empty pods and, eventually, the device’s internal battery shouldn’t go in household rubbish — don’t puncture, crush or burn either. Treat them as e-waste. The UAE doesn’t yet have a widespread vape-specific recycling scheme, so the safest option is your nearest general e-waste drop-off point.
