How to choose an e-liquid in the UAE

Pick the nicotine type first, then the strength, then the VG/PG ratio, then the flavour. Get the first three wrong and no flavour will taste right, however good the juice is.

Salt nicotine or freebase

Salt nicotine is treated with an acid so that high strengths go down smoothly. That is what makes 50 mg tolerable in a tiny pod. Freebase is the older form: harsher at the same number, so it is sold much weaker, at 3 mg or 6 mg, and used in higher-power devices that vapourise far more liquid per puff. If you own a small pod kit, you almost certainly want salt nicotine. If you own a sub-ohm mod, you want freebase vape juice.

VG/PG ratio and what it changes

Vegetable glycerine is thick and makes vapour. Propylene glycol is thin, carries flavour, and gives the throat sensation. A 50/50 blend is thin enough to soak through the cotton in a tight, high-resistance pod — which is why nearly all salt nicotine is 50/50. A 70/30 or 78/22 blend is too thick for those pods and will give you a burnt taste, but it is exactly right for a low-resistance coil with wide airflow.

Bottle size and cost per millilitre

The bigger the bottle, the cheaper the liquid — a 120 ml freebase bottle here works out at about a quarter of the per-millilitre cost of a 30 ml salt bottle. That gap is real, but it only helps if the liquid suits your device; a cheap 120 ml of 3 mg freebase is useless in a 1.2Ω pod.

Flavour families, and what each one does to your coil

Flavour is the last decision, not the first, but it is the one that decides how often you replace a coil. Most of what we stock falls into five families.

FamilyWhat it isCoil life
FruitSingle fruits and fruit blends. The largest group in this catalogue and the most-bought in the UAE.Longest — light-coloured, low-sweetener liquids are the kindest to a coil
Ice and mentholA cooling agent added to a fruit or plain base. Sold either as its own line or as an “ice” variant of a fruit flavour.Long — but the cooling can mask a coil that is already past its best
TobaccoDry, mild or cigar-style profiles. The usual choice for anyone who wants something close to what they are used to.Long
BeverageCoffee, tea and soft-drink profiles.Medium
Cream and custardRich, thick profiles. Usually the highest sweetener content in any range.Shortest — expect to replace coils noticeably more often

Two practical points nobody mentions when selling you a bottle. Dark, sweet liquids caramelise on a coil and shorten its life, sometimes to a few days in a small pod — if you are getting a burnt taste quickly, the liquid is a more likely cause than the device. And a strong menthol will taste the same through a worn coil as a fresh one, so it hides the signal that it is time to change.

Flavour is also where the pod-system argument gets won: a refillable device lets you change family whenever you like from one bottle to the next, where a disposable commits you to one flavour for the life of the device.

Matching e-liquid to your device

Read the coil resistance printed on your pod or coil. At 0.8Ω and above, use 50/50 salt nicotine at 20 mg to 50 mg. Between about 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω, use 50/50 at the lower salt strengths or a 60/40 freebase at 6 mg. Below 0.6Ω, use 70/30 freebase at 3 mg to 6 mg. Going stronger than the coil calls for is the single most common reason a new setup tastes wrong.

E-liquid prices in the UAE

Every e-liquid we stock sits between AED 35 and AED 60, and the most common price is AED 40. Size, not brand, drives most of the difference.

Price bandWhat you get
AED 3530 ml salt nicotine bottles, and one 120 ml freebase line. The entry price for both types.
AED 40–45The bulk of the range — 30 ml salt from the better-known lines, and 60 ml freebase.
AED 50–60100 ml and 120 ml freebase bottles, and premium 30 ml salt series.

Vaping products in the UAE carry excise tax at 100%, and all prices shown include applicable taxes. From 1 September 2026 a minimum excise price of AED 1 per millilitre applies to liquids used in electronic smoking devices. That sets a floor under the cheapest bottles; the 100% rate itself is unchanged. This is the one change most likely to move e-liquid prices in the UAE this year, and it affects large low-cost bottles most. Prices on this page were last verified on 15 August 2026.

E-liquid vs prefilled pods and disposables

Bottled e-liquid is the cheapest way to vape and the most work; disposables are the opposite. Prefilled pods sit in between.

Vaping law and age rules in the UAE

Vaping products are legal to sell in the UAE, and the minimum age to buy them is 18. The age limit is set by Federal Law No. 15 of 2009 on Tobacco Control. We sell to adults aged 18 and over only, and ID is checked on delivery.

Electronic nicotine products sold in the UAE must conform to the mandatory regulation for electronic nicotine products administered by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MOIAT). General tobacco provisions are published on the official UAE government portal.

Vaping products carry excise tax at 100%. From 1 September 2026 the Ministry of Finance applies a minimum excise price of AED 1 per millilitre to liquids used in electronic smoking devices; the 100% rate itself is unchanged. Tax guidance is published by the Federal Tax Authority.

Vaping is not permitted everywhere. Treat it as you would smoking: not in enclosed public places, government buildings or on public transport. Nicotine is an addictive substance, and the World Health Organization publishes a question-and-answer page on e-cigarettes. This section states published rules and is not legal advice.

E-liquid FAQ

What is the difference between salt nicotine and freebase e-liquid?

Salt nicotine is chemically modified so that higher strengths feel smooth in a small pod device; it is normally sold at 20 mg to 50 mg in 30 ml bottles. Freebase is the traditional form, sold at 3 mg to 6 mg in larger bottles, and suits higher-power direct-lung devices.

Which e-liquid should I use in my pod system?

Match the liquid to the coil. Coils around 0.8Ω and above want salt nicotine at 20 mg or more in a 50/50 blend. Coils under about 0.6Ω want freebase at 3 mg to 6 mg in a 70/30 blend. The product page states both figures.

How much does e-liquid cost in the UAE?

AED 35 to AED 60 a bottle here. Per millilitre that ranges from about AED 0.29 for a 120 ml freebase bottle to about AED 1.17 for a 30 ml salt nicotine bottle. The table below the grid does the arithmetic for the main sizes we stock.

What does the VG/PG ratio do?

VG is thicker and makes more vapour; PG is thinner, carries flavour and gives more throat hit. A 50/50 blend wicks properly in small high-resistance pods. A 70/30 or higher VG blend suits low-resistance coils and will struggle to wick in a tight pod.

What nicotine strengths do you stock?

0 mg, 3 mg and 6 mg in freebase, and 20 mg, 25 mg, 30 mg, 35 mg and 50 mg in salt nicotine. Every product page states the strengths available for that bottle; where more than one is offered you choose at checkout.

How long does a 30 ml bottle last?

It depends on your device and how much you vape. As a working figure, a 30 ml bottle holds roughly the same liquid as five to seven mid-size disposables. A light pod user typically gets two to four weeks from one.

Which e-liquid brands do you stock?

Currently 24 brands with stock, including VGOD, Tokyo, Ripe Vapes, Nasty, Dr. Vapes, Pod Salt, BLVK, Elfliq and Vapetasia. The full list with counts is in the shop-by-brand section below the grid.

Is it legal to buy e-liquid in Dubai?

Yes. Vaping products are legal to sell in the UAE and must conform to the mandatory regulation for electronic nicotine products administered by MOIAT. Sales are restricted to adults aged 18 and over.

How fast is delivery in Dubai and the other emirates?

Within 24 hours as standard to all seven emirates, for AED 30. In Dubai you can pay AED 10 more for express delivery in 2 to 3 hours. Orders over AED 350 ship free anywhere in the UAE.

Can I pay cash on delivery?

Yes, in every emirate. Bank transfer is also available everywhere. Card payment is available in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman.

Can I return a bottle of e-liquid?

Sealed bottles that arrive damaged or leaking are replaced. For hygiene and safety reasons we cannot take back an opened bottle. Contact us on WhatsApp at +971 55 470 5152 with your order number.
